The ZIEGLER company was founded by Bruno Ziegler in 1978 and initially produced scaled mesh fabrics for fashion purposes. The company started to produce stab and cut protection items made of wire ring mesh in 1979 which soon became a standard in many industries.

A worldwide triumph of innovative new products in the stab and cut protection technology started in 1994 with the EUROFLEX brand products.

The move to our current building in August 2002 with more than 2000 m² of production and office space finally provided us with enough space to accommodate further growth and additional innovations.

After the takeover of the distribution company "Heilemann Sicherheitstechnik GmbH" in 2004 the worldwide distribution picked up additional speed. Our subsidiary "ZIEGLER DO BRASIL", founded in 2006, enabled us to expand marketing and service in South America.

We are now one of the leading companies in the production of metal mesh fabrics and personal protective equipment (PPE).

After a 30-year existence, the company was passed on to the next generation when Bruno Ziegler retired in 2008.

Our personal protective equipment production consists of mostly metal mesh gloves in different versions and metal ring mesh stab-protection aprons from renowned manufactures in the industrial protection industry which are manufactured for the meat and fish processing industry.

Our items are also used in the textile, paper, glass and sheet metal industry. Stab protection inserts for ballistic protection products are additional innovative items of our customer-oriented range.

In addition, we develop and produce all sorts of special technical and industrial applications according to customer specifications. Our "historical" range includes clothing items such as shirts, jackets, trousers, sleeves, hoods and much more for exhibition fights, LARPs, fantasy, theatre, movies and museums.

Our production range also includes applications for architecture, interior design and light technology. Likewise part of our customer-specific developments are curtains, screens, wall hangings and banister cladding made of metal ring mesh.

We additionally offer a repair and alteration service for all our products, especially for the stab and cut-protection items as well as for all related mediaeval items.
